MDS (Music and Design Services) is based in Malvern, Worcestershire, in the lee of the Malvern Hills, so beloved of Edward Elgar.
MDS sells music for church and concert hall online. We also engrave music from your manuscripts or files:

Alan Smith founded MDS in 1992. He has been a pastoral musician, parish music leader and organist for over 45 years. He has composed four settings of the 2010 translation of the Mass, including Pershore Mass and Mass of St Kenelm. A former chair of the Society of St Gregory (the UK national association of Roman Catholic pastoral musicians and liturgists), Alan is the production manager and an editorial board member of its journal, Music and Liturgy.
Born in 1952, Alan was educated at Dover Grammar School and at York University, where he studied with John Paynter and Wilfrid Mellers. He taught music in Kent, Birmingham and was county adviser for music in Worcestershire. He retired in 2011 and now devotes his time to writing, editing, typesetting, music engraving, composing and running MDS.
